Be the peace you hope to know.

This blog space was born out of a wish: to find reassurance and ease when I am struggling, to learn how to accept my mistakes and move forward. This is what I most need as I strive to give my children, and myself, the gift of peace and a happy day. I hope that together we can create little moments of peace and a welcoming world for our children.

My Photo
Andrea Alban Gosline
San Francisco, CA, United States
is the author of numerous children’s picture books and inspirational parenting titles. When she was six, she self-published her first poetry book, a parchment scroll tied with red ribbon. She attended the University of California at Berkeley and San Francisco State University in the late 1970s and early 80s, taking what she intended to be a short sabbatical to write a novel before her senior year. Twenty six years later, she returned to SFSU and was awarded an Osher Re-entry Scholarship. She graduated with honors in May 2008 earning her B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. Andrea lives in her favorite old neighborhood in San Francisco with her children and Irish Setter, Dusty. Most mornings you can find her in her garden, imagining the next scene of her novel while she prunes the birch trees and weeds the soil beneath the lilies.
